The Jolly Rogers
Don James is once again working with The Jolly Rogers remixing their CD, "Loose Cannons". Originally released in 2000 as part of the 2 disc set, "Loose Cannons" has 23 songs recorded on 24 track analog tape. Don is remixing all of the songs in ProTools at MagneticFish studios. |
Independent Film June - December 2005 |
The Empty Acre
"The Empty Acre" is completed and will be screening at the Kansas International Film Festival and the Estes Park Film Festival. It has already had limited screenings and has been getting some press. Don James of MagneticFish Productions wrote and produced the score for this film. Reviewer Jon Hickman said "I especially liked the foreboding and ominous score that added to the sincerity of the story." |
Independent Film March - September 2005 |
Descansos
Descansos, a feature-length film with Charles Durning and Gary Busey, is completed. The original score was written and produced by Don James of MagneticFish Productions. The film is being distributed by Lion's Gate Films and is currently touring the film markets in Europe. |
CD Project May-June 2005 |
The Jolly Rogers
In June, we finished the new Jolly Rogers CD titled "Cutlass, Cannon and Curves". Recording and mixing were done in Studio B at Chapman Recording Studio, with additional editing at j.hall's Theta Rhythm. The CD is scheduled to be released in September. |
